"What a lovely experience and tasty meal. Owner Vito was generous with his time and was delightful to chat with. Staff all very nice. Very high quality meat at a reasonable price. I loved the veal liver! And the re house wine was delicious."

"On a rainy day - I had come to the the bombette and was not disappointed. By going to the butcher entrance I could pick between so many options and they cooked them there for me to to take away. I asked for their recommendations and was NOT disappointed."

"This restaurant in cisternino, the city of meat, was an okey choice. It is not the typical butcher shop where they cook you the meat you choose but it is just a meat restaurant. The food was very tasty although I am told by locals the “bombette” dish was good but not great. Service was a bit slow but overall I recommend if you did not have time to plan it better."

"The meat and specifically the “bombette” are to die for here - tender, succulent, fresh. Excellent selection of meats and sides. Good wine list. Indoor and outdoor seating. Arrive before 8pm in summer to get a table or there will be a wait."

"We visited Puglia in late September and we had dinner at Trattoria Bere Vecchie on Mon. 9/30. We got seated in one of the outdoor tables with the cute red white checkered tablecloth. The service was excellent. We ordered a 1/2 liter carafe of red wine and the bombette balls (pork) and the salchicha mista along with roasted veggies and baked potatoes. Everything was very tasty. Would definitely come back again. The place was packed with tourists and locals alike. Our bill was around 60 euros."
